Once upon a time, I was a member of the IOR, #300-something. Then...when I thought I was retiring from gaming, I sold everything, including my physical copy of the companion and essentially transferred my IOR membership. Anyway, when I realized my mistake, purchased the companion again, I became IOR #511. So there you go...everyone's IOR number after around 350 is artificially inflated by one.

I bought the Risus Companion 5 years ago...still haven't sent for my IOR card. I like to think that I'm a secret IOR ninja member, but in reality, a weird combination of Lazy and It's Too Long to Seriously Consider Doing This Now has kept my membership non-official.

I don't know whether I have a number or not, although I believe I did get the Companion. I just don't remember where on my hard drives it is.

I want to know who #666 is! Until i deployed I carried my card, laminated to protect it, in my wallet. My wife would laugh anytime I reached in there to pay a bill and she caught a glimpse of it. Many a time there was a rash of teasing, but she just does not understand the importance! Who knows!? On the off chance I come across The Creator I must be able to flash my card and ensure I am saved!

I carry my card in my wallet as well. And I also laminated mine.
I just don't think I'm actually going to meet the creator. But hey, if I ever do...

My embarrassing confession is that as a GM I encourage out of character chatter. I'm more ringleader than ringmaster.
I also don't call out cheaters.
