This should be relevant to all Risus fans: S. John Ross has, to go with the new release of Uresia: Grave of Heaven put out a new version of the Risus rules, titled Uresius: Grave of Anything. The rules seem to be for the most part the same as in the basic six pages, except for the fact that there are no funky dice, and the rules include questing dice, hooks and tales, and sidekicks and shield-mates from the Risus Companion. I've just ordered Uresia and am looking forward to running it with this. Based on the Uresia primer, S. John Ross's work on Uresia was one of the things that sparked Risus. I believe he said something to the effect of "When you think about the fact that this world has the magical adventuring maid as an established archetype, it's easy to see where the idea for inappropriate cliches in combat could've come from." Anyone else have thoughts concerning Uresia and/or Uresius?
